Hey guys,
'Glowing Up' has been the term thrown around since the very start of the pandemic. It is a term used by people who are trying to 'transform' or 'better' themselves. Whether this physical appearance, mannerism, habits and mental health.

When I think about glowing up I think of self care and developing myself for myself but it does make me feel so much worthwhile when people notice that change and that 'glow up'. It's such a big confidence booster. The last few months have been crazy manic with work, and my physical & mental health so now is the perfect time to form good habits to see a better change. I have heard people say that having a glow up has given them more opportunities and thinking.
Here are some simple changes that could help enhance your appearance:
- Smell - Deodorant & perfume
- Nails - Keep nails clean, suitable length & maybe add a splash of colour
- Brows - This simple thing can change how the face looks - I regret touching mine when I was a lot younger; thank god for castor oil for helping them grow
- Clothing - Everyone has their own style & plus it's definitely best to ensure you have ironed out the wrinkles
- Eyes - Morning eyes; Make sure you when you wash your face you get rid of your morning dew - This will make sure your alert and awake - Even if you don't have time to apply to apply makeup adding a layer of mascara can make you pop.
- Eyelashes - This follows on from eyes really - But I have been loving add castor oil to my eyelashes to help them grow - Depending on your face shape some girls like to get lash extensions or a simple lash lift. I personally prefer a lash lift.
- Face Hair - Yes this is natural but there is no better feeling than getting a jug of warm water, face oil and a face razor and getting rid of that peach fuzz; Such smooth, soft, glowy skin. I love it even better getting it done professionally.
- Ears - Wax
- Hands - Hand Cream; There is nothing more horrible than the feeling of dry and cracked hands, especially nowadays with all the hand washing.
- Mouth - Make sure your breath is always on point and always make sure you smile.
- Manners, Boundaries & Attitude - Don't be too shy but don't be too cocky; Don't be too independent but don't be too dependent. Always make sure to say please, thank you and hold doors for people. Little things go a long way. Check my kindness post here
- Water - Always make sure to get your 8 glasses of water a day. No explanation of how this does wonders to your body.
- Organised & Clean - Finally, even if you don't feel organised maybe keeping a to do list or organising section by section in maybe one room at a time or your phone or your emails, it can help clear your mind and make people think your organised and on the right path.
