Rules To Follow In Life
September 28, 2021Hey guys,
So they say to live your life and be a rule breaker but hey who doesn't like a few rules. There are a few rules that everyone should follow to make life easier and more pleasant, not just for you but for everyone. When you've been walking behind someone, how do you feel when they hold the door for you? How do you feel if they haven't? Same as how do you feel when you walk past and a stranger smiles at you? How do you feel when you have done a good deed for the day? It makes your day a little bit more happier.
- Don't hold grudges
- Say yes to new things
- But always remember you can say no
- It's okay not to be okay
- Go after what you want - Life is too short - But also please be aware of any consequences (If there's any)
- Never compare yourself to others
- Apologise when needed - Even if you think you're right
- Be grateful & appreciative
- Be kind (Especially more so to the mean ones)
- Be the better person
- Tell them how you feel - Don't bottle up
- Respect yourself aswell as others - How would you like to be treated?
- Manners
- Love & Self-love
- Always check up on people - But remember it also goes two ways too
- Take responsibility for your actions
- Follow your heart
- Always smile - But also don't be afraid to have a cry

Love the sentiment behind this. I really could do with re-evaluating my own little rules to follow as it's been a while since I've done such reflection.

Thank you so much. Just taking that time to reflect makes you feel at ease, if that makes sense ahah. It's always something that I do when I'm feeling sluggish. I definitely find these 'rules' and essential for day to day x
DeleteYes yes yes, I'm loving the sound of all of these - a great idea for a post x
ReplyDeleteThank you so much lovely x
DeleteThe second one seems quite relatable to me. It's easy to overlook that you say no to so many things on which you shouldn't, and then realize later you shouldn't have. Thanks for the thoughtful post. Xx

I always find that I never say no to things unless it's taking me out of my comfort zone then I'm quick to say no and then I am never getting pushed. Definitely something a few of us should work on when it comes to balancing the yes and the no's xx
