A day at the Beach

As the Summer has now approached and the weather is gorgeous, which it hardly is in England, my 4 friends and I got on the bus and headed to a local beach. One of my friends, Ella, was very prepared as she brought a cooler bag full of food like; sandwiches with different fillings, crisps, fruit, bottles of water, cheese and crackers. We decided to go to Morrisons and get more food and drinks as we knew it was gonna be a longggg day and with the sun scorching we needed to stay full, hydrated and keep our energy levels up.

Once we had set up our spot on the beach we went and go some ice cream from a little ice cream shop. I got an Flake 99 with raspberry sauce, I don't see why they are called Flake 99 when they cost £2?!

After a bit of sunbathing, 2 of my friends, Elly & Hannah, and I decided to go and walk to the 3 little islands and see how far the sea was out. We didn't realise how far it was! However, it was worth it because the view was spectacular and beautiful. There was little houses on one of the island and there were families having picnics on there. When we reached the first little island it was full of pretty daisies, so I had to get some pictures! Once we reached the 2nd island we decided to have a little break and just look at the view and look at how far we had come. We didn't realise how far we had walked!

Our engravings on the beach :) When we looked at the 3rd island we agreed not to go because we had already came far and we had left our phones with our other friends, so we had no idea how long we had been gone for or what the time was. Before we started to walk back we spotted a little cute cave.  Once we got backed to the others, we sunbathed for a few more hours then decided to head back off home as the sun was starting to go.
