Review: Once Upon A Time (TV Programme)

Hey guys!
Oh my gosh so recently I have just got into Once Upon a Time and all I can see is that it is AMAZING and you guys need to watch it. Once Upon a Time is an American fairy tale drama series. It premiered in 2011 but I have only recently started watching it as it got recommended to me, my mum and my dad. The show usually airs on Sundays at 8:00pm on ABC. In the UK, seasons 1 and 2 used to be aired on channel 5 until it got dropped, so at the moment I am not sure where it is getting moved to.
The show takes place in the fictional seaside town of Storybrooke, Maine, in which residents are actually characters from various fairy tales who have been transported to the 'real world' town. The characters have forgotten their real memories due to a powerful curse that the Evil Queen Regina placed. She obtained the curse from Rumplestiltskin. In the real world, Regina is mayor and have lived an 'unchanging existence' for 28 years. The episodes feature a storyline from the present day of Storybrooke and another storyline from the character's life before the curse. However, sometimes the storylines can be quite predictive as it follows a similar pattern but with a different outcome. They also offers similar insights!
Bail bondswoman Emma Swan who is drawn to the small town of Storybook due to her biological son Henry living there (even though she gave him up for adoption.) Henry believes the town is cursed and that the town is full of fairytale characters. Only Emma, the daughter of Snow White & Prince Charming, can lift the curse and get everyone out of the 'real world' and back to their own place.
I love this TV show as it is smartly-crafted for fans of light fantasy, with a mix of cleverness, action and romance. It is very unique and has a creative script to it. I love the way the show investigates the different fairytales and how they are linked together. I have just finished season 1 and can say that the show can be quite addictive and hooking!
